Photocell automatic hermetic doors, which have specific application areas such as operating theaters, laboratories and even recording studios that require sealing, close with full contact on the wall and floor and meet the need for air tightness.
Gilgen’s SLX model automatic hermetic door is a system that can be used safely in any environment that needs air and sound insulation especially in the surgery room and laboratory rooms where air sealing (hermeticity) is needed. The photocell hermetic door mechanism and the wing design are in an extremely ergonomic structure, shaped with smooth surfaces that are dust-free as they should be in fully sterile environments. Gilgen SLX photocell hermetic door model, which can be preferred with MDF-Lam, Compact laminate and stainless steel, and three different structural elements and surface coating, fully meets the universal standards and norms in 100% compliance with the technical specifications of the Ministry of Health and TOKI reports and certificates (TÜV Nord – DIN 18650-1 / 2 – Air permeability EN 12207, class 2 -Sound-insulated 32 dB).
Thanks to the articulated structure inside the mechanism, when the wing reaches a level close to the closing point, it goes down to the floor in a vertical movement simultaneously, while the special guiding element pushes the wing towards the wall and the wing closes by pressing on the 4 sides of the door opening. Finally, the hermetic door wing and seals on the casing complete the feature of being hermetically sealed door.
Photocell hermetic doors, which can be equipped with proximity sensors or elbow buttons that do not require hand contact to ensure hygiene in sterile environments, can be opened by means of built-in radar sensors hidden in the mechanism if suitable distances are found. The concealed-type safety photocell, which is hidden inside the mechanism cover, functions as a curtain photocell integrated with the radar sensor, thus making the photocell hermetic door wing secure throughout the movement area.
