Description
These standard revolving doors are available with internal diameters ranging from a minimum of 1800mm to a maximum of 3800mm. They can be chosen in manual or automatic configurations, with 3 or 4 wings, and in any desired color or surface finish. For manual doors, an ideal internal diameter is 2400mm; we recommend not exceeding this measurement due to operational difficulties. The manually operated Crystal Tourniket revolving glass doors are designed to be easily upgraded to fully automatic doors at any time.
Diameter Range: Ø 1800 – 3800mm
It is no coincidence that the Crystal Tourniket is the most preferred revolving glass door model worldwide. Over Boon Edam’s more than 100-year history, numerous architectural trends and diverse customer demands have led to the creation of a timeless, universal classic that fits every era, need, and structure. The Tourniket revolving door, with its classic lines, offers versatile application possibilities and an exceptionally flexible structure, making it adaptable to your expectations. This revolving door’s special profile design is both aesthetically pleasing and highly durable and practical. Remarkably, even after 20 years of installation, damaged parts of a Tourniket revolving glass door can be easily replaced.
The Crystal Tourniket revolving doors have not overlooked the benefits of the latest technological advancements like Wi-Fi. Equipped with a system called Teleboon, automatic revolving doors periodically check the healthy functioning of all sensors and components, and report this information wirelessly using a unique identification number assigned to each door. These reports are monitored at both Boon Edam’s headquarters in the Netherlands and our technical service unit, allowing issues to be identified and addressed in their early stages.
For the surface finishes of your door, any color can be applied using RAL standard electrostatic powder coating or anodizing techniques to match your building’s structural elements. Additionally, with years of expertise and advanced technological capabilities, materials such as satin stainless steel, mirror finish No.8 (mirror stainless steel), brass, bronze, or wood can be flawlessly applied to aluminum profiles with perfect 90-degree rotations. For the flat and curved fixed profiles, 9mm tempered, laminated, or special safety glass, as well as solid materials based on your requests, can be used.
Crystal Tourniket is a fully transparent revolving door. Curved fixed glasses made from laminated glass are placed in a circular groove made of stainless steel embedded in the ground, and stainless steel protectors are adapted to prevent the edges forming the door opening from being damaged by impacts. The ceiling, consisting of two pieces of tempered glass, is securely attached to the curved fixed parts with special inox magnets (glass holders) on the top of the body.
Crystal Tourniket can be manufactured with either 3 or 4 wings, depending on your preference. The wings are made of laminated glass and are connected glass-to-glass with inox magnets without any central column, in accordance with the overall concept of the door. However, since it is essential to use brushes to isolate airflow, stainless steel brush holder profiles with a width of 25 mm rotate around the wings. The wings have a panic folding feature, allowing them to fold and provide wide openings in emergencies.
Glass revolving doors produced in a diameter range of 1600 to 3000 mm can be chosen in 3 different operating principles: manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic. The range of 1600-2600 mm is suitable for manual use, while automatic options are more appropriate for ease of use in 2800 and 3000 mm measurements.
When the Crystal Tourniket is preferred as automatic, the automation can be embedded in a special motor chamber in the ground if the floor has suitable depth. If the floor is not suitable, it can also be suspended from the ceiling of an appropriate room located below the floor if available.
