Description
Fire-resistant automatic sliding doors function as a fire barrier in case of fire. The main purpose of these certified special automatic doors is to remain closed during a fire, preventing the spread of flames to other sections of the building. While serving as a fire barrier and evacuation point during emergencies, in daily use they also provide the convenience and practicality of a standard automatic sliding door with photocell sensors.
When a smoke/fire alarm in your building is triggered, the fire-resistant automatic sliding door closes slowly and safely. Automatic fire barriers prevent flames from spreading to other parts of the building while maintaining the same ease of use as conventional doors. Thanks to the built-in battery system inside the mechanism, this feature remains functional even in the event of a power outage.
Prioritizing user safety, these automatic sliding doors also feature a panic opening mechanism. While the fire system is active and the doors are closed, the sliding panels can manually pivot open at a 90° angle, providing an evacuation opportunity until the very last moment before the fire reaches the door zone.
Fire safety, tested to EN 1363-1 and EN 1634-1. User safety, TÜV-tested to EN 16005 and DIN 18650 Emergency exit fittings as per EN 179 or EN 1125.
