The Twintour model offers a versatile solution for entrances requiring flexible configurations by integrating multiple double-wing revolving doors into a single system. This model allows you to synchronize and operate two, three, or four double-wing revolving doors together, effectively managing building traffic flow according to your needs.

The Twintour model provides a unique solution that maximizes the capacity achievable from a small-diameter automatic revolving door. For example, a 3000mm diameter double-wing revolving door can accommodate up to 2 x 29 people per minute, or up to 2 x 38 people per minute if it has four wings. In contrast, the Twintour model can facilitate the passage of up to 2 x 60 people per minute. It also accommodates wheelchair and shopping cart access, which is typically not possible for comparable models with a 3000mm diameter.
In addition to providing high capacity at small diameters, the Twintour offers the advantage of maintaining a smooth and level passage. You can extend the system outward from the building, along the building’s length, or align it with the building’s axis to create a striking and grand entrance tailored to your specific design needs.
The standard implementation of the Twintour model involves connecting two double-wing revolving doors through an entrance corridor. The revolving wings inside each revolving door cabin are positioned opposite each other and start and stop simultaneously after motion detection by the sensors.
In this synchronized operation, the wings always seal the revolving doors against air flow, providing excellent insulation between the indoor and outdoor environments. This may raise the question: why use the synchronization of two revolving doors when a single 3 or 4-wing revolving door could achieve the same result? The reason is that Twintour double-wing revolving doors can be installed without any springs in front of the door openings that need to be closed, providing remarkably wide passage widths even at small diameters.
The Twintour model, thanks to its synchronized motor operation, allows for numerous combinations beyond its standard application.
For example, it can be used to separate the halls of an exhibition center or the domestic and international terminals of an airport. It also offers surprisingly high-capacity usage options in situations where a large revolving door is needed, but the required diameter for such a door is unavailable in the building facade. In other words, the Twintour adapts to your conditions, not the other way around, ensuring that the revolving door meets your specific requirements.
